Takes note with appreciation of the report of the Secretary-General;

Encourages the United Nations Institute for Training and Research to continue to grow its programming in alignment with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and deepen its beneficiary outreach to respond to learning and related capacity needs, in particular those from the most distressed countries, including by leveraging innovative financing tools;

Also encourages the Institute to continue to build and strengthen partnerships with all stakeholders, including the private sector, academia and civil society, and to strengthen linkages with the United Nations system, particularly at the country level, with a view to scaling up its support for national capacity-building;

Renews its appeal to Member States and other stakeholders to lend their full support, including through flexible funds, to enable the Institute to invest in scaling up its support for national capacity-building, learning and other needs;

Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Economic and Social Council in 2027 on the implementation of the present resolution.
