Takes note with appreciation of the report of the Secretary-General;

Encourages the United Nations Institute for Training and Research to continue to build and strengthen partnerships with all stakeholders, including United Nations system entities, the private sector, academia and civil society, as well as to strengthen engagement at the country level through enhanced linkages with the United Nations system with a view to ensuring more integrated and impactful programming;

Also encourages the Institute to continue to respond to learning and other capacity needs in accordance with its mandate and the outcomes of relevant international conferences, and to continue to align and harmonize its activity with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the outcomes of other international conferences;

Renews its appeal to Member States and other stakeholders to provide voluntary non-earmarked contributions to the Institute and to support the Leave No One Behind Fund to enable the Institute to better address the needs of beneficiaries and other stakeholders from the most distressed countries;

Requests the Secretary-General to continue to support the fellowship programme of the President of the General Assembly as a tool for development and achieving implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals benefiting young diplomats from developing countries;

Invites countries, the United Nations system and stakeholders to join the Institute in marking its 60 years of service to the United Nations and the international community;

Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Economic and Social Council in 2025 on the implementation of the present resolution.
