Welcomes the ongoing work of the Treaty’s Scientific Advisory Group and the update to its report on the status and developments regarding nuclear weapons, nuclear weapon risks, the humanitarian consequences of nuclear weapons, nuclear disarmament and related issues;

Confirms that the first Review Conference of Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons will be held at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 30 November to 4 December 2026;

Expresses its gratitude to the Secretary-General for his support provided to date, and requests him to render the necessary assistance and to provide such services, as may be required, for the first Review Conference and its informal intersessional process;

Calls upon all States that have not yet done so to sign, ratify, accept, approve or accede to the Treaty at the earliest possible date;

Calls upon those States in a position to do so to promote adherence to the Treaty and its norms and underlying rationale through bilateral, subregional, regional and multilateral contacts, outreach and other means;
