Takes note of the status of contributions to the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur as at 30 April 2025, including the contributions outstanding in the amount of 101.1 million United States dollars, representing some 0.6 per cent of the total assessed contributions, notes with concern that only 162 Member States have paid their assessed contributions in full, and urges all other Member States, in particular those in arrears, to ensure payment of their outstanding assessed contributions;

Endorses the conclusions and recommendations contained in the report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, and requests the Secretary-General to ensure their full implementation;

Takes note of the report of the Secretary-General on the final performance of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur;

Also takes note of the net cash shortfall in the special account for the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur in the amount of 3,428,000 dollars as at 30 April 2025, and decides that the fund balance shall be earmarked as credits to Member States, based on the scale applicable to the last assessment, but not returned owing to the current cash shortfall in the Operation;

Urges all Member States to make every possible effort to ensure payment of their assessed contributions in full;

Decides that updated information on the financial position of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur shall be included in the report on the updated position of closed peacekeeping missions, to be considered by the General Assembly at its eightieth session under the agenda item entitled “Administrative and budgetary aspects of the financing of the United Nations peacekeeping operations”;

Also decides to delete from its agenda the item entitled “Financing of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur”.
