Expresses concern at the situation caused by recent dcvdopments;

Calls upon the parties eoncerncd to refrain therefore !'rom ail unilateral actions anywhere in Cyprus th«t may affect adversely the prospects for a just and peaccful solution and urges thcm to continue and acceleratc determined co-operative efforts to achieve the objectives of the Security Council;

Reaffirm.s once again its resolution 365 (1974), by which it cndorsed General Assembly resolution 3212 (XXIX) adopted unanimously on l November 1974, and calls once again for the urgent and effective implcmentation of those resolutions and of its rcsolution 367 ( 1975);

t.'xpresses concern at the lack of progress at the inlercommunal talks;

Calfs upon the representatives of the two communitics to resume negotiations, under the auspices of the Secrctary-General, as soon as possible, meaningfully and construetively, on the basis of comprehensive and concrcte proposais;

Requests the Sccretary-General to keep the Council in_formed of developments that may adversely affect the 1mplementat1on ot the present resolution.
