Decides to extend until 28 February 2022 the mandate of the 1540 Committee with the continued assistance of its group of experts, as specified in paragraph 5 of resolution 1977 (2011), and requests the Secretary-General to take the necessary administrative measures to this effect;

Further decides that the 1540 Committee, while continuing its current work pursuant to its mandate, shall continue to conduct and complete the comprehensive review on the status of implementation of resolution 1540 (2004) and submit to the Security Council a report on the conclusion of the review;

Decides to remain seized of the matter.
