Having heard the statements of the representatives of Senegal and Portugal conceming violations of Senegalese territory by the Portuguese military forces,

Deep/y deplores any incursions by Portuguese military forces into Senegalese terri tory;

Reaffirms its resolution 178 (1963) of 24 April 1963;

Requests once again the Government of Portugal to take all effective and necessary action to prevent any violation of Senegal's sovereignty and territorial integrity;

THE INDIA-PAKISTAN QUESTION 31 Declsion At its 1237th meeting, on 4 September 1965, the Council decided to invite the representatives of India and Pakistan to participate, without vote, in the discussion of the question.

Calls upon the Govemments of India and Pakistan to take forthwith all steps for an immediate cease-fire;
