Urges all States and international humanitarian organizations to intensify their efforts to help to alleviate the plight of refugees and displaced persons;

Requests the Secretary-General to provide to the Council as soon as possible information on the humanitarian situation, including information available through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and other sources;
