“The Security Council reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina within its internationally recognized borders. It recalls that Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of two entities, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, as defined in the Dayton Peace Agreement, as well as the Brčko District, and underlines safeguarding the rights of Bosniacs, Croats, and Serbs, as constituent peoples (along with Others) and citizens as well as the multi-ethnic character of the State remain central to its stability and democratic future.
