Requests the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to continue its efforts, in consultation with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, to promote mutual understanding and the exchange of views and expertise between various stakeholders, in particular between public and private sector entities, on issues pertaining to identity-related crime through the future work of the core group of experts, including draft model legislation on identity-related crime;

Invites the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to continue to cooperate with other international and intergovernmental organizations and academic institutions active in this field by enabling their participation and active involvement in the future work of the core group of experts;

Invites Member States and other donors to provide extrabudgetary resources for the purposes described above, in accordance with the rules and procedures of the United Nations;

Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its twenty-third session on the implementation of the present resolution.
