Invites the Governments of the Latin American and Caribbean countries and other interested Governments to participate in the regional meeting of the heads of national drug law enforcement agencies with a view to establishing the Meeting of Heads of National Drug Law Enforcement Agencies, Latin America and Caribbean Region;

Requests the Secretary-General to adopt the necessary measures and to provide the financial resources required for holding the regional meeting during the second half of 1987 at the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean or at the capital of any State in the region that may wish to act as host;
