At its 49th plenary meeting, on 22 July 2004, the Economic and Social Council took note of Commission on Human Rights decision 2004/103 of 31 March 200419 and endorsed the Commission’s recommendation that the documentation relating to Paraguay which was examined by the Commission between 1978 and 1990 under Council resolution 1503 (XLVIII) of 27 May 1970 should no longer be considered confidential, in accordance with the request made by the Government of Paraguay.
