At its 10th plenary meeting, on 1 May 2003, the Economic and Social Council decided to authorize, in accordance with its resolution 1995/32 of 3 March 1995, the participation of the following three indigenous organizations in the work of the open-ended intersessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights to elaborate a draft declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples:
