Requeststhe Secretary-General, in consultation with Member States, to appoint the members of the Independent Expert Advisory Panel by no later than the end of 2025, and the relevant existing United Nations entity, which will act as the secretariat of the multidimensional vulnerability index, by no later than the end of the first quarter of 2026, both within existing resources;

Also reiterates its request to the Secretary-General to ensure the full implementation of its resolution 78/322 and that adequate resources are available to support the work on the multidimensional vulnerability index;

Decides to include in the provisional agenda of its eighty-third session, under the item entitled “Sustainable development”, the sub-item entitled “Multidimensional vulnerability index”, which will be considered triennially.
