Recognizes the important role of international and regional financial institutions in peacebuilding and sustaining peace, and encourages the implementation of the strategies adopted by the African Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, as well as the relevant strategies adopted or being developed by other regional and international financial institutions focusing on operating in peacebuilding settings and conflict-affected countries and regions, including addressing drivers of conflict, and further encourages continued efforts towards strengthened partnership and strategic cooperation between the United Nations and international financial institutions at headquarters and field levels and consideration of joint initiative and analysis, where applicable, and shared priority-setting towards collective outcomes, complementarity and coordination in implementation, in line with national priorities;
