Takes note of the status of contributions to the United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti as at 30 April 2022, including the contributions outstanding in the amount of 19.6 million United States dollars, representing some 7.4 per cent of the total assessed contributions, notes with concern that only 158 Member States have paid their assessed contributions in full, and urges all other Member States, in particular those in arrears, to ensure payment of their outstanding assessed contributions;

Expresses its appreciation to those Member States that have paid their assessed contributions in full, and urges all other Member States to make every possible effort to ensure payment of their assessed contributions to the Mission in full;

Endorses the conclusions and recommendations contained in the reports of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions, and requests the Secretary-General to ensure their full implementation;

Budget performance report for the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020

Takes note of the report of the Secretary-General on the budget performance of the Mission for the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020;

Also takes note of the amount of 16,632,600 dollars comprising the unencumbered balance of 10,428,500 dollars in respect of the financial period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020, as well as the other revenue and adjustments in the amount of 6,204,100 dollars in respect of the same period, and decides to defer action thereon until it considers the final performance report of the Mission;

Further takes note of the amount of 244,200 dollars representing the increase in estimated staff assessment revenue in respect of the financial period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020, and decides to defer action thereon until it considers the final performance report of the Mission;

Final disposition of the assets of the United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti

Takes note of the report of the Secretary-General on the final disposition of the assets of the United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti;

Recalls paragraph 13 of the report of the Advisory Committee, and encourages the Secretary-General to update and apply the lessons learned from the disposition of assets in the Mission;

Decides to include in the provisional agenda of its seventy-seventh session the item entitled “Financing of the United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti”.
