Notes the efforts of the Secretariat in expediting reimbursements to troop-contributing countries;

Recalls the prerogative of the General Assembly to consider whether to adjust the rate of reimbursement to troop- and police-contributing countries after reviewing the results obtained by the methodology approved in its resolution 67/261;

Also recalls that predeployment training, vaccination and health care, as provided for by the reimbursement framework and operational readiness, remain the responsibility of contributing countries, and stresses the importance of all troop- and police-contributing countries completing these requirements before deployment;

Decides to establish a single rate of reimbursement to countries contributing contingent personnel to United Nations field operations in the amount of 1,448 United States dollars per person per month as from 1 July 2022;

Also decides to establish a temporary reimbursement rate to apply during the period starting 1 July 2022 and ending 30 June 2026, to countries contributing contingent personnel to United Nations field operations in the amount of 4.9 dollars per person per month for common and essential additional costs related to mandatory predeployment coronavirus disease (COVID-19) testing, for as long as this remains a mandatory United Nations requirement.
