Requests the secretariats of the United Nations and the League of Arab States to follow up on the implementation of the recommendations and resolutions of the fourteenth sectoral meeting to assist the Arab States in eradicating the increasing poverty resulting from the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic in the region;

Requests both secretariats to convene the fifteenth general cooperation meeting between the two systems, which was postponed owing to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, at the United Nations Office at Geneva by the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022 and to hold the fifteenth sectoral meeting between the two organizations and their specialized agencies at the headquarters of the League of Arab States by the end of 2021;

Requests the United Nations specialized agencies, programmes and institutions to continue their interaction and collaboration with their counterparts in the organizations and institutions of the League of Arab States and to improve their consultation mechanisms for the implementation of the projects and programmes agreed upon between both sides;

Calls upon the United Nations specialized agencies, institutions and programmes to inform the Secretary-General, no later than January 2022, of the progress achieved in their cooperation with the League of Arab States system, particularly in implementing the multilateral decisions and programmes approved by the general cooperation meeting between the two organizations;

Requests the Secretary-General to submit a report on the implementation of the present resolution to the General Assembly at its seventy-seventh session;
