Endorses the conclusions and recommendations contained in the report of the Advisory Committee,4 subject to the provisions of the present resolution, and requests the Secretary-General to ensure their full implementation;

Takes note of the recommendation made in paragraph 21 of the report of the Advisory Committee, and decides to establish nine posts in the Department of Political Affairs of the Secretariat, as set out in the table below:
