Reiterates its request to the Secretary-General to apply flexible use of office space in the Arusha branch project, upon approval by the General Assembly of flexible workspace arrangements in the Secretariat;

Notes that an environmental impact assessment will be carried out to assess the potential hazards and impact of the construction, and looks forward to receiving updates in this regard in the context of the next progress report;

Requests the Secretary-General to continue to ensure that the procurement of goods and services for the construction project is carried out in strict compliance with the existing regulations, rules and relevant provisions of General Assembly resolutions governing procurement in the United Nations;

Reaffirms paragraph 33 of its resolution 62/269 of 20 June 2008;

Requests the Secretary-General to continue to update Member States regularly, through the Office of Central Support Services of the Department of Management of the Secretariat, on the progress of the construction project;

Also requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at the first part of its resumed sixty-ninth session a progress report on the implementation of the project, outlining, inter alia, the project expenditures and total costs.
