Welcomes the comprehensive and timely preparation of the report of the Joint Inspection Unit;1

Endorses the report of the Unit, and requests the Secretary-General to take full account of its recommendations and findings when elaborating the capital master plan, without prejudice to the future consideration by the General Assembly of the report of the Secretary-General on the capital master plan;

Decides to revert to the consideration of the report of the Unit and the comments of the Secretary-General thereon within the context of its consideration of the report of the Secretary-General on the capital master plan, requested by the General Assembly in section IV of its resolution 55/238 of 23 December 2000.
