Takes note with appreciation of the action taken by the Secretary-General in compliance with General Assem­ bly resolution 43/175 B;

Requests the Secretary-General to provide the Divi­ sion for Palestinian Rights of the Secretariat with the necessary resources and to ensure that it continues to dis­ charge the tasks detailed in paragraph 1 of General As­ sembly resolution 32/40 B, paragraph 2 (h) of resolution 34/65 D, paragraph 3 of resolution 36/120 B, para­ graph 3 of resolution 38/58 B, paragraph 3 of resolution 40/96 B and paragraph 2 of resolution 42/66 B, in consul­ talion with the Committee on the Ext>rcise of the Inaliena­ ble Rights of the Pale̚ tinian People and under its guid­ ance;

Also requests the Secretary-General to ensure the continued co-operation of the Department of Public Infor­ mation and other units of the Secretariat in enabling the Division for Palestinian Rights to perform its tasks and in covering adequately the various aspects of the question of Palestine;

Invites all Governments and organizations to lend their co-operation to the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People and the Divi­ sion for Palestinian Rights in the performance of their tasks;

Takes note with appreciation of the act1011 taken by Member States t() obsl'rve annually on 29 November the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian Peo­ pk.
