Decides that the amount of the special appropriation made by the General Assembly at its fortieth session to fi nance a loan to the United Nations Industrial Develop ment Organization62 shall be adjusted to reflect ctual re quirements ($16 million), on the understandmg t_hat income from the repayment of the loan to that orgamza tion would be credited to income section 2 (General m come) only in 1988 and on the understanding that, should its financial situation improve to such an extent that the United Nations Industrial Development Organization finds it possible to repay the loan in 1987, the Secretary General would so inform the General Assembly and would reflect the repayment in the final performance re port on the programme budget for the biennium 1986-1987;

Takes note of the report of the Secretary-General on I. conference services at Vienna63 and the related report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budge tary Questions;64 2.

Decides that the additional requirements in this re spect, if any, should be reflected in the final performance report on the programme budget for the bienniu_m 1986-1987 to be submitted to the General Assembly at tts forty-second session;

Approves the proposal of the Secretary-General65 to charge the additional expenditures resulting from Judge ment No. 370 of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal against the overall balance of appropriations for the biennium 1984-1985 to be retained as a result of the suspension of regulations 4.3, 4.4 and 5.2 (d) of the Finan cial Regulations of the United Nations;

Approves the proposals of the Secretary-General relating to the job classification of the General Service and related categories in New York66 and in Geneva;67
