Appeals to all Governments to make or increase voluntary contributions to the Y ear and to ali international agencies and financial institutions to provide etfective financial and other support to the programme of the Year;

Decides to devote at least two plenary meetings at its forty-second session, in 1987, to issues related to shelter in observance of the International Y ear of Shelter for th; Homeless.
