Takes note of the report of the Ad Hoe Committee of the Whole to Review the Implementation of the Charter of Economic Rights and Duties of States; 34 2.
Urges all States to examine further the implementation of the Charter of Economic Rights and Duties of States, thereby contributing to the establishment of the new international economic order;
Requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at its forty-fourth session, through the Economic and Social Council at its second regular session of 1989, a comprehensive and analytical report, in order to ensure systematic and comprehensive consideration of the implementation of the Charter of Economic Rights and Duties of States, in accordance with the provisions of article 34 thereof;
