The number of posts reclassified is in proportion to the number established for each of the six languages of the United Nations;

The translators, interpreters, verbatim reporters, editors, copy-preparers and proof-readers benefit from the reclassification measures;

Requests "the Secretary-General to apply selfrevision on a provisional and experimental basis, to the extent that it does not affect the quality of United Nations documents, whatever the official or working language used;

Further requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at its thirty-sixth session on the implementation of the present resolution.
