Requests the Secretary-General to transmit the present resolution, together with its annex containing draft additional guidelines for the improvement of the channels of communication between the United Nations and youth and youth organizations, to all Member States, regional commissions and regional and intemational youth organizations in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council for their comments and suggestions;

Invites Member States to communicate the substance of the present resolution and its annex to national youth organizations and asks for their comments and suggestions;

Requests the Secretary-General to take the necessa~ _action to ob~ain from ~ember States, regional com- ~1ss1~ns and reg1_onal and mtemational youth organizahons m consultattve status with the Economic and Social Council their comments on the aforementioned draft additional guidelines and to submit a report in this regard to the General Assembly at its thirty-fifth session; . 4. . Decides to include in the provisional agenda of 1ts th1rty-fifth session the ítem entitled "Policies and programmes relating to youth".
