Requests the Committee on Disarm.ament, at an appropriate stage of its implementation of the proposals set forth in the Programme of Action lU/ contained in the Final Document of the Tenth Special Session, to consider urgently the question of an adequately verified cessation and prohibition of the production of fissionable material for nuclear weapons and other nuclear explosive devices and to keep the General Assembly informed of the progress of that consideration.
