Expresses its great appreciation to the Ad Hoe Working Group on the Situation of Human Rights in Chile for the careful and objective manner in which it carried out its mandate;

Draws the attention of the Commission on Human Rights to the importance of the experience of the Ad Hoe Working Group in view of the Commission's future action, when dealing with consistent patterns of gross violations of human rights.
