Expresses its appreciation to all those who have contributed to the United Nations Educational and Training Programme for Southern Africa;

Strongly appeals to all States, organizations and individuals to make generous contributions to the Programme;

Requests the Secretary-General, in consultation with the Advisory Committee on the United Nations Educational and Training Programme for Southern Africa and within the terms of paragraph 2 of General Assembly resolution 2431 (XXIII), to take all ~ssible measures for the promotion of adequate contnbutions to the Programme;

Decides that, as a further transitional measure, provision shall be made, under section 12 of the regular budget of the United Nations for the financial year 1971, for an amount of $100,000 to ensure the continuity of the Programme pending the receipt of adequate voluntary contributions;

Notes with approval that co-operation between the Programme and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has been further strengthened and that it is the intention of the Secretary-General to undertake consultations with the Organization of African Unity, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and the International Labour Organisation with a view to
further strengthening co-operation with them;

Requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at its twenty-sixth session on the progress of the Programme.
