Welcomes the holding on 14 June 2018 of the intersessional workshop on the right to peace, at which participants discussed the implementation of the Declaration on the Right to Peace, and takes note of the summary report thereon of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights;

InvitesGovernments, agencies and organizations of the United Nations system, and intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations to disseminate the Declaration on the Right to Peace and to promote universal respect and understanding thereof;

Requeststhe Office of the High Commissioner to pay appropriate attention to the right to peace in its work, including in its activities to commemorate the seventy-fifth anniversary of the United Nations;

Encouragesall Member States, specialized agencies, civil society and relevant stakeholders to contribute to the promotion of the right to peace;

Decides to remain seized of the matter.
