Takes note of the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights;⁵

⁵A/HRC/17/47.

Regrets the non-cooperation of the occupying Power, Israel, with the independent international fact-finding mission on the Gaza flotilla incident;

Calls upon concerned parties to ensure the immediate implementation of the conclusions contained in the report of the fact-finding mission;

Notes that the panel of inquiry established by the Secretary-General is expected to complete its work soon;

Requests the High Commissioner to bring to the attention of the Secretary-General the conclusions contained in the report of the fact-finding mission,1 as well as the follow-up reports;

Also requests the High Commissioner to submit a concluding report on the status of the implementation of paragraph 3 above to the Human Rights Council at its twentieth session;

Decides to follow up the implementation of the present resolution at its twentieth session.
