At its 1st plenary meeting, on 14 September 2010, the General Assembly decided to authorize those subsidiary organs of the Assembly listed in the letter dated 30August 2010 from the Chair of the Committee on Conferences,16 namely the Committee on Relations with the Host Country, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, the Disarmament Commission, the Independent Audit Advisory Committee, the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and the Working Group on the Financing of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, to meet during the main part of the sixty-fifth session of the Assembly.

At its 34th plenary meeting, on 20 October 2010, the General Assembly decided to authorize the United Nations Appeals Tribunal to hold one meeting in NewYork during the main part of the sixty-fifth session of the Assembly, on the strict understanding that meetings would have to be accommodated when facilities and services could be made available without adversely affecting the activities of the Assembly and its Main Committees and that everything possible would be done to ensure the most efficient use of conference services.17
