At its 75th plenary meeting, on 20 February 2009, the General Assembly, on the proposal of the President of the General Assembly,30 recalling its resolutions 51/241 of 31 July 1997, in particular paragraphs 19 and 20 (a) of the annex thereto, and 57/301 of 13 March 2003, in particular paragraph 2 thereof, decided that the general debate of the sixty-fourth session would be held from Wednesday, 23 September, to Saturday, 26 September, and from Monday, 28 September, to Wednesday, 30 September 2009, and that these arrangements would in no way create a precedent for future sessions.
